I'm starting this list of links of web sites, that are worth looking at. This list is not necessarily about the greatest sites one can find. I'm sure most would agree, that often times, a web site has some great features, only to be "obstructed" by some strange implementations of other.

The point here is, to simply list links in your posts, with perhaps short comments on what one should expect or he/she could possibly learn from viewing it. I would also suggest to simply edit your original post if you find more interesting links.

1. Chromogenic.net - a simple layout and a number of very interesting links, but check out the "archives", I see lots and lots of thumbed images loading on a single page, way too much for me. I think I could stand it, if it would stop at a predetermined browser page size (so as not to force one into scrolling down)

2.Spoken Image - here I've found a rather convoluted site overall (too many jumpy colors against black background), but look at the way picture gallery works, when you hover over an image, it reverts to a "negative or inverted" overlay and displays image's description, I find it really bad for two reasons: a: you have to hover to get that info (and if one wants to have image description it ought to be outside the picture area), b: it doubles the work and file size and increases possibility of broken links (every roll-over = additional image and additional link)

3.Dynamic Factory - look at how inconvenient (yet cute) a Flash implementation can be, it takes a while before you get to see actual art, a lot of thought went into making this whole thing "work", but does feel like an overkill

4.Claudio Cambon - enter his Mexico gallery, then click on a pin, quite interesting and entertaining display, possibly too much for some but well thought out (don't you like the idea of showing a map of shooting locations?).
